Day 60: Getting Fit Journey

MM100 Day 46

We have been actively plugging through MM100, currently on day 43. We miss a day once in a blue moon, but really we’re sticking pretty close to the every day approach the program recommends. In addition to MM100, I’m also walking 40 minutes a day. I added the walking component because I like to eat 🙂 Need to try to make sure there’s a calorie deficit since I am also trying to lose weight as well as firm up my soft spots.

Losing weight has been pretty disappointing because I lost 9 pounds the first month, then 1 pound the whole second month! It’s too early to plateau so I suspect the Allen genes of muscle bulk are to blame. I know, I know, “muscle weighs more than fat” but it is still a very real thing to deal with the disappointment that comes from what feels like no progress after a ton of effort. It’s certainly a mental journey too.
